Peer Support Skill Development

Peer based recovery support services and best practices in the behavioral health field are constantly changing. Continuing education is required for workers to stay current with the latest developments, skills, and new technologies required for their fields.

Peer Support Workers and Recovery Coaches also require continuing education to comply with certification requirements or maintain membership in an association.  Overall, continuing education is considered a way for professionals to keep abreast of their fields so they don’t lag behind and can deliver the best possible services to their clients.
